Protocol between Portugal and the USA on the Deportation Process of Portuguese Citizens of the United States of America and of American Citizens in Portugal (Lisbon, May 30, 2000). Approved by Decree No. 24/2000 - DR IA, No. 242 of October 19, 2000. (Portugal notified the competent USA authorities of the internal compliance with procedures for entry into force. The United States of America informed that, since the Protocol did not take the form of an International Agreement, it was its understanding that internal diligence was not necessary with a view to its entry into force, considering it in force from the time of its signature, which occurred on May 30, 2000).
