A meeting of the Law Enforcement Working Party was held on 7 May.
In debate were the Council Conclusions on the protection of Public Spaces, as well as those concerning the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the area of home affairs, two of the priorities of the Portuguese Presidency of this Working Party. Still on the agenda, Member States continued the discussion on the recast of the EUROPOL Regulation, which aims at strengthening the competences of this European Agency.
