In anticipation of the Ministerial Conference on the Management of Migration Flows of 11 May, which welcomed ministers and representatives of the area of Home Affairs from the European Union and from countries in the Western and North African regions, Minister Eduardo Cabrita held a bilateral meeting on 10 May with the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Tunisia, Hichem Mechichi, and with the Minister of the Interior of Algeria, Kamel Beldjoud.
Both meetings highlighted further initiatives of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union with external relevance and projection, as well as bilateral cooperation in the field of Home Affairs.
