The online conference "Looking Ahead to
2030: A New Global Decade of Road Safety Action in Portugal, the EU and Africa",
organised jointly by the Portuguese Road Safety Authority (ANSR), the European
Commission's DG MOV and the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC), will take
place on the 20th of May.
The initiative is part of the commemoration of
the 6th United Nations Global Road Safety Week, and will be attended
by the Portuguese Minister for Home Affairs, Mr. Eduardo Cabrita, as Presidency
of the Council of the European Union, and the European Commissioner for
Transport, Ms. Adina Vălean, as well as the UN Special Envoy for Road Safety
and representatives of the African Union Commission, Cape Verde, Global Road
Safety Partnership and World Resources Institute.
