​The Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Eduardo Cabrita, traveled to Berlin to meet with his counterparts from Germany and Slovenia, Horst Seehofer and Boštjan Poklukar with the aim of preparing the Joint Program of the Council  Presidency Trio, in the area of ​​Home Affairs. Issues common to the three Presidencies of the Council were discussed, in key areas such as asylum and the management of migratory flows, the prevention and fight against crime, including terrorism, the strengthening of interoperability in the exchange of information, the civil dimension of the Policy Security and Defense, as well as Civil Protection and emergency response.​
