​A workshop organised by the Portuguese Presidency will take place on 13 and 14 April to analyse the experiences and practices of the Civil Protection Services in adapting to the COVID scenario, maintaining high levels of operational response to multiple emergencies with a focus on the lessons identified in relation to business continuity plans for emergency services. EU Member States will discuss their experiences in terms of personnel management and international deployments in a pandemic context. The aim is to discuss how to strengthen and enhance the EU's collective capacity to better prepare and respond to emergencies.​
