Under the aegis of the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union
Council, the plenary meeting of CARPOL, a forum for the international exchange
of information on the vehicle criminality phenomenon with cross-border
repercussions, was held on the 14th of April.
At this meeting, the results of joint operations were analysed, and procedures
and good practices were shared. It was also possible to strength the
cooperation and organization of activities carried out between Security Forces
of the Member States of the European Union, with the support of partners such
as Europol, Frontex and public-private entities.
